A table gives rows and columns for anything list-like — a schedule, a comparison, or a simple form.
Insert tab → Table, then drag to pick a number of rows and columns, or type an exact number instead.
Right-click inside a table for Insert or Delete row/column options. Drag a border between cells to resize a row or column.
A shortcut worth knowing
Pressing Tab while inside the very last cell of a table automatically creates a new row — a fast way to keep adding entries without touching the mouse.
Select two or more cells and right-click → Merge Cells to combine them into one, useful for a title spanning several columns. Split Cells does the reverse, dividing one cell into several.
