Actually delivering the presentation is a separate skill from building it.
F5 starts the show from the first slide; Shift+F5 starts from the currently selected slide instead; Esc exits back to the editor.
Shows the speaker their current slide, the next slide, and any speaker notes — while the audience, on a second screen or projector, only ever sees the current slide.
| Key | What it does |
|---|---|
| F5 | Start from the first slide |
| Shift+F5 | Start from the current slide |
| Esc | Exit slide show |
| Arrow keys / Space | Advance or go back |
Slide Show tab → Rehearse Timings records how long each slide is shown while practicing, so the show can later advance itself at that same pace. Record Slide Show goes further, capturing narration and slide timing together — useful for a presentation nobody needs to deliver live.
