<img src="https://picsum.photos/600/400" width="600" height="400" alt="Placeholder" />This tool builds URLs against two real, free placeholder services rather than generating or storing any images itself: Lorem Picsum (real stock-style photos — random, seeded for a reproducible pick, or a specific photo you browse and pick by ID, credited to its real photographer) and placehold.co (solid-colour boxes with text, the maintained successor to the old placeholder.com API). Every control just changes the URL — the image itself is fetched live from that service each time, so a slow or unreachable API shows up as a broken preview, not a bug in this tool.
